KADYR BEKOV

Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Painter, monumentalist. He was born on January 18, 1956 in the city of Jalal-Abad. In 1974 he graduated from the Frunze Art College. Since 1976 he has been an artist of the Jalal-Abad Art Fund. In 1985 he graduated from the Moscow Art Institute named after V.V. Surikov, Faculty of monumental painting; since 1985 he has been an artist-monumentalist of the Art Fund of the Kirghiz SSR. Since 1989, a member the Artists’ Union of the USSR. Since 1991, a member of the Artists’ Union of the Kyrgyz Republic. Plot compositions, portraits, still lives of this artist are filled with freshness, lightness, a certain charm of incompleteness. A participant of republican, all-Union and international exhibitions.

  3. 1995. A personal exhibition in Seoul, South Korea;

  6. 1986-2017. Republican autumn and spring exhibitions.

The works are in collections of museums: Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyz National Museum of Fine Arts named after G. Aitiev), CIS. In private collections: France, Germany, Holland, USA, Brazil, South, Korea, China.
